Commercial Splash Pads for HOAs, Daycares and Communities

We design and install splash pads for communities and businesses across the Phoenix metro, from a compact pad for a daycare play yard to a full splash park for an HOA. Every project is built on Rain Deck's commercial line: stainless-steel features, commercial jets, high-capacity tanks and filtration, and programmable controllers.

    Who we build for

Splash pads for every kind of property

    HOAs & master-planned communities

A splash pad is one of the most-used amenities a community can add, and it costs far less to run than a second pool.

    Apartments & townhomes

A family-friendly amenity that helps with leasing and doesn't need a lifeguard.

    Daycares & early-learning centers

Low, gentle features and soft surfacing designed for toddlers and preschoolers.

    Churches & schools

Summer programs, events and recess, with timer or sensor activation so water only runs during play.

    RV parks, resorts & hospitality

A visible guest amenity that photographs well and is easy to staff.

    Equipment

    Commercial-grade Rain Deck equipment

    • Stainless-steel above-ground features: water cannons, tipping and dumping buckets, rain curtains, arches, palm trees and large play towers built for heavy use.
    • Commercial in-ground jets and spray plates rated for constant foot traffic.
    • Recirculating systems sized to the pad: holding tanks from a few hundred to several thousand gallons, variable-speed pumps, and sand or cartridge filtration.
    • Chemical controllers that monitor and dose sanitizer automatically.
    • Electronic controllers with multi-zone sequencing, plus activators that shut the water off when nobody is playing.
    • Poured rubber surfacing, shade, fencing and LED lighting to finish the space.

    Regulations

    Health and safety requirements

A splash pad open to the public, or to members or residents of a community, is treated differently from one in a private backyard. County environmental health rules for water features can set requirements for filtration turnover, disinfection, water testing and plan review. Accessibility rules may also apply to the pad and the path to it.

We confirm which rules apply to your property before design, so the system is specified correctly the first time instead of reworked after a review.

    Process

    How a commercial project runs

    1. 1

      Site visit and goals

Who will use it, how many at once, the budget range, and where it can go on the property.

    2. 2

      Concept layout and budget

A feature layout, equipment list and budget your board or ownership can approve before engineering.

    3. 3

      Design, approvals and permits

Final system sizing, construction details, and any city or county reviews your site needs.

    4. 4

      Construction

Excavation, plumbing, equipment vault or enclosure, concrete, surfacing and features.

    5. 5

      Startup and training

Testing, water balancing, and hands-on training for your staff or management company.

    6. 6

      Ongoing service

Seasonal startup and shutdown, water chemistry, and repairs to keep the pad open.

    Budget

What does a commercial splash pad cost?

Light commercial projects such as a daycare or small HOA pad often start around $40,000. Larger public-facing splash pads with stainless-steel features, bigger tanks and chemical controllers commonly run well into six figures. The biggest factors are pad size, the number and type of features, the water system, and site work like shade, fencing and the equipment enclosure.

We give you a concept and budget early, before you pay for engineering, so the number your board approves is the number we design to.

    Common questions

What kinds of commercial splash pads do you build?

Splash pads for HOA community amenities, apartment and townhome communities, daycares and early-learning centers, churches, schools, RV and mobile-home parks, and hospitality properties. Projects range from a compact pad with a few jets to a multi-feature splash park with stainless-steel play structures.

Do commercial splash pads have health department requirements?

Often, yes. Splash pads open to the public, or to members or residents of a community, can fall under county environmental health rules for water features. Those rules cover things like filtration, disinfection and plan review. We confirm what applies to your site before design so the system is sized and specified correctly from the start.
